  • Memorandum of Understading (MOU) Regarding Bargaining

    The Shasta College Faculty Association agreed with the administration not to enter into collective bargaining for the 2012-13 school year.  Part of that agreement was for the District to provide for one full-time sabatical.  Faculty that are interested in applying for that sabatical should consult with the faculty contract and the human resources office for details.  In addition, the agreement not to bargain included an extension of last year's MOU that gives full-time faculty up to six hours of flex credit and compensates part-time faculty up to two hours of flex

    Hello Everyone,

    As you know, in November Shasta College will be electing four Board of Trustee positions.  The Shasta College faculty Political Action Committee (PAC) has interviewed and selected candidates to endorse based on the who will best represent the interests of faculty in relation to education of our students, policy and administrative processes, capital processes, and decisions regarding the long run goals of our college.
